A3M - THE specialist for safety when traveling

Based in Hamburg and Tübingen, A3M Global Monitoring GmbH is Germany’s leading crisis early warning expert for the tourism industry. The company works with the most important tour operators such as the TUI and Dertour Group as well as Studiosus and other providers. They all use the specialists’ alerts to warn guests in vacation destinations of dangers in the event of an emergency and, if necessary, to initiate further measures to protect them. The events that A3M monitors include storms, floods and earthquakes as well as so-called “man-made” events such as demonstrations, polarizing elections or unrest. In addition to tour operators, companies are also customers or users of A3M, who can use the assessments to warn their employees in the event of an emergency and thus fulfill their statutory duty of care.

Current reporting sets the pace:

For many years, Wilde & Partner has played a key role in raising the company’s profile and positioning A3M as a leading expert in its field. This is achieved firstly in the trade press for tourism and business travel in all umbrella markets and secondly through constant contact with the business and B2C press – both print and online. To this end, the agency works with expert assessments of current events, which are very popular with journalists.

Reflection of expertise: the Travel Risk Map

A3M’s annually updated Travel Risk Map, which classifies travel countries around the world and is color-coded accordingly, also plays an important role. It is now used by the media (including the Frankfurter Rundschau, Spiegel.de and Merkur.de, for example) as an extremely important source for their reporting and is frequently used at the turn of the year.
