The Neuenhauser Group, a network of leading companies in machinery, plant engineering, and metal processing, employs around 2,800 staff across more than 20 locations. In light of increasing cyber risks, it was crucial to establish a solid foundation for internal and external communication in crisis situations. <\/p>\n\n
Wilde was commissioned to develop a crisis communication manual for IT security. The goal was to prepare the Neuenhauser Group for potential crisis scenarios such as cyberattacks, data theft, and data protection breaches. The focus was on infrastructural, resource, and content preparedness to ensure a swift and efficient response in case of an emergency. <\/p>\n\n
A key part of the project was a communication workshop involving all relevant stakeholders. In close collaboration with the Neuenhauser Group team, Wilde developed the crisis communication manual, which was subsequently tested and refined during a practical crisis simulation exercise. <\/p>\n\n
The result: Awareness of potential crisis situations was significantly heightened within the company.
