The online portal for tours and activities, GetYourGuide, was to be positioned as one of three start-ups on the way to becoming a global player through technological innovation and who was becoming a mobile company. Johannes Reck, GetYourGuide’s CEO, appeared at the ITB Berlin congress’ CEO start-up panel as a panel speaker for the eTravel Start-up Days and spoke about “Opportunities and Challenges Due to Digitization.” This achieved strong and lasting recognition.
